Bij een tankstation in Nieuwegein is vanochtend brand uitgebroken. Volgens de politie ontstond de brand nadat een taxichauffeur was weggereden met de tankslang nog in het busje.

Rond 07.00 uur zag een medewerker van het tankstation dat er iets mis was en drukte op een noodknop, waarna de brandweer met meerdere wagens naar het tankstation langs de A2 ging. Omdat het bij een tankstation was met brandbare vloeistoffen, schaalde de brandweer snel op.

Het is niet bekend wat de medewerker precies zag. Vrij snel daarna werd het sein brand meester gegeven.

As he arrived in good time on the Golden Globes red carpet, the star of Marty Supreme put pay to speculation as to whether the chromatic marketing of the film’s ping pong balls would have him wearing orange.

Instead, he wore a black T-shirt; vest, jacket and Timberland boots with silver buttons by Chrome Hearts, souped up with a five-figure Cartier necklace. Kylie Jenner, his partner and sartorial foil, was nowhere to be seen.

Styled by Taylor McNeill, who was also responsible for Chalamet’s wildly amusing if chaotic red carpet campaign for the film, the look was bad boy Bond. It also set the tone for an evening of subdued tones.

Er zijn in 2025 opnieuw meer auto's gestolen. In totaal verdwenen 7497 personenauto's, 12 procent meer dan in 2024.

De totale schade wordt geschat op ruim 127 miljoen euro. Dat blijkt uit nieuwe cijfers van Stichting Verzekeringsbureau Voertuigcriminaliteit (VbV).

Niet alleen worden er meer auto's gestolen, maar ze leveren ook steeds meer schade op. De gemiddelde schade per gestolen personenauto steeg vorig jaar naar 17.061 euro, bijna 24 procent meer dan in 2024.
